Michael O. Varhola

Michael O. Varhola is a writer who has authored or co-authored 34 books and games — including Ghosthunting San Antonio, Austin, and Texas Hill Country, the swords-and-sorcery novel Swords of Kos: Necropolis, and two fantasy writers guides — and who has published more than 120 games and related publications. He is the founder of game company Skirmisher Publishing LLC, editor-in-chief of d-Infinity game magazine, and editor of the America's Haunted Road Trip series of travel guides. He has edited, published, or written for numerous publications, including The New York Times, is a combat veteran who served eight years in the U.S. Army, and lives in the Hill Country north of San Antonio, Texas. He also has an active online presence, notably through Facebook and Twitter and a variety of other blogs, forums, and sites.

Brenda Cass

Brenda Cass is a software developer, data scientist, game developer, photographer, and proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. She is an owner and Vice President of Skirmisher Publishing LLC, and serves as product manager, project manager, treasurer, and technology gopher. She is designer of TSRPG, the Swords of Infinity universal RPG system, co-author of the Swords of Kos Fantasy Campaign Setting and operates the d-Infinity Independent Tabletop Game Network. Clint Staples

Clint Staples is a game developer and professional miniatures sculptor. He is the primary author of the upcoming "Ragnarok" series of games, and the successful "Mythos Society Guide to New England". His musing on the Runequest RPG may be found on d-Infinity every Thursday. When not exploring the wilds of and around Winnipeg, he pursues his interest in the medieval and ancient world.

Penny Staples

Penny Staples is a professional writer and game developer. She has taken over playtesting, development and editing of the Ragnarok RPG ruleset. Penny also edits fiction for Skirmisher. She enjoys writing, gaming, cycling, travel and drinking wine. Penny has an avid interest in history, myth and comparative religion.

Amanda Kahl

Amanda Kahl is the creator of the fantasy comic Age of Night and a freelance illustrator. She illustrates many of Skirmisher's publications and is a part of the playtesting development team. She can also be spotted playing games on friends’ webshows or podcasts, or drawing and chatting live on her own art streams. Amanda lives in the woods of Maine with her family and enjoys gaming, gardening, and adventuring outdoors. 


Bob Greyvenstein

Bob was born in Pretoria South Africa in a very different world from today. He started creating art before he was two, just as soon as he could hold a crayon. The overwhelming creative drive has defined Bob’s life, spreading in all aspects of his life, fine art, illustration, sculpture, graphic design, interior decorating and more. From a degree in Fine Art Painting, to book layouts for the Presidency and Soccer World Cup Reports, Bob has consistently been in the creative world. Inextricably linked with his imagination, Bob’s natural creativity found its home in the world of fantasy, and fantasy illustration, which naturally led to ttrpg where it all came together. This is a lifelong passion, and is not over yet…

Wilhelmina T. Thrasher

Wilhelmina T. Thrasher is an author, illustrator, cartographer, and game designer living in the state capital of Kentucky, which is neither Lexington nor Louisville. She currently writes, illustrates, and designs maps for Skirmisher Publishing LLC and is the author of too many Cthulhu Live scenarios to count. When not working with a pen Wilhelmina runs gaming events for her local library and sews her own masks.

Jesse Roy

Jesse Roy is a chemical engineer, game designer, terrible illustrator, and an enthusiastic storyteller. He principally helps with playtesting, and is able to approach games equally well from a technical standpoint as he is from an enjoyment perspective. Currently, Jesse is developing a tactical tabletop miniatures game, "Price of Glory," as well as the campaign setting for the world that the game takes place in.

Robert "Mac" McLaughlin

Mac Mclaughlin is an owner of Skirmisher Publishing and president of the successful Florida based live events production company, MindGame Productions. He is a four year Army veteran and author of several acclaimed Skirmisher games, to include the Cthulhu Live 3rd Edition LARP, and Chevauchee miniatures games.

Chris Van Deelen

Chris Van Deelen is the author of the Skirmisher Publishing LLC sourcebook Creatures of the Tropical Wastes sourcebook and co-author of its Wisdom from the Wastelands post-apocalyptic game supplement. He is also a devout father and family man, a practicing martial artist, and overall one hell of a nerd!

Ollie Cass

Skirmisher’s Vice President of Business Development is a 28 year Army veteran who retired as a Colonel in 2013. Ollie was deployed around the world during his career, to include Iraq and Afghanistan. Ollie continues to serve his country as a diplomat currently stationed in Canada. Ollie began gaming in 1980/81 during the birth of table top fantasy gaming. Ollie joined the Skirmisher team from its inception in 2001, and also is also the author of "USSMC FM 7-22: Space Boarding Operations".

Sam Slusky

Sam Slusky is an Aeronautical engineer working for your least favorite big airline. When he's not alternatively saving and ruining your next big vacation, Sam enjoys playing video games, reading, and whatever his wife tells him to enjoy. Sam enjoys game development from a mechanical, competitive, and gameplay feel aspect, he's currently helping playtest and develop Swords of Infinity with Skirmisher.
