New Skirmisher Releases: Arms, Armor, Avatars, and More!

Skirmisher Publishing has just released several titles at its own PDF Shop, including a classic look at weapons and armor, some tokens and avatars for virtual tabletops, two freebies, a couple of supplements for post-apocalyptic games, some scenarios and supplements for fantasy RPGs, and a horror LARP script!

“Coldblooded: A Player’s Guide to Lizardfolk” (10 pages, 99¢), a supplement for Pathfinder/d20 RPGs, includes details on physical appearance, society, relations with other races, alignment and religion, and typical adventures; alternate racial traits and a new racial archetype, the Dragon Priest; and new equipment.

“Creatures of the Wastelands: Habitats” (20 pages, $1.99) is devoted to 44 environments and locations that might exist in a post-apocalyptic campaign setting and how they can be used in RPGs in general and ones like classic Gamma World or its Mutant Future retroclone in particular.

“Creatures of the Wastelands: A Menagerie of Mutants & Mutations” (84 pages, $4.99), a sourcebook for d20-based post-apocalyptic and science fiction games like Mutant Future and classic Gamma World, contains more than 200 new creatures, more than 50 mutations, and several odds-and-ends like new terrain types, materials, and non-creature hazards.

“Dhanurvidya & Varman: The Arms & Armor of India” (62 pages, $4.99), a fully-illustrated supplement for D&D 4E, contains more than 70 new powers; descriptions and statistics for 24 weapons and 20 items of armor or shields; two new weapon groups; and a section on other weapons that might appear in an Indian milieu.

“Gnoll Crocuta Spells” (8 pages, FREE) contains 13 new spells for a detailed, 10-level OGL prestige class that appears in Skirmisher’s “Tests of Skill” adventure and sourcebook.

“Human Troops: Tokens & Avatars for Virtual Tabletops” ($1.99) is a set of 20 full-color tokens and avatars/character portraits by fantasy artist Amanda Kahl that contains variations on five different figures, a Champion, Spearman, Archer, Mounted Lancer, and War Dog!

“Into the Mines of Moira” Bonus Content” (FREE) is dedicated to bonus content tying in with Skirmisher’s “Into the Mines of Moira” adventure for the  D&D 5E, including two 5E backgrounds, a detailed NPC, a downloadable cardstock miniature, and a fun short story.

“Tests of Skill: An OGL Adventure & Sourcebook” (130 pages, $9.99) includes a versatile wild-land setting, more than two dozen detailed encounters, three detailed scenarios and three outlines, 10 maps and diagrams, and dozens of NPCs.

“The Green Fairy: A Script for Cthulhu Live” (66 pages, $4.99), a scenario set in Paris at the end of the 19th century that revolves around a series of nightmarish murders, which contains a game overview and timeline, staging and prop guidelines, and detailed character sheets and backgrounds for 30 player characters.

All of these titles have all been updated in various ways so as to make them more user-friendly, to include fixing links, bookmarking, and other information as necessary.
